How do I use the Roots & Scalp Oil effectively?

For optimal results, first hydrate your hair with water or a water bases product, then apply a small amount of Roots & Scalp Oil directly to the scalp and massage gently. This encourages blood circulation and allows the natural ingredients to penetrate effectively. It is recommended to use the oil 2-3 times a week for best results.

What ingredients are used in your products?

Are your products handmade?

Yes! All of our products are lovingly handmade in small batches here in the UK.

Is the Roots & Scalp Oil a hair growth serum?

No, this is not a hair growth serum. Rather, it is formulated to support and enhance your hair’s natural potential. Such as improving thickness, length retention, volume etc. It does not specifically stimulate new hair growth but helps create optimal conditions for healthier hair.

Can this oil be used on starter locs?

We do not recommended use on starter locs as they can be very delicate and easily disturbed with excess moisture. Please reach out to your loctician for advice before purchasing with us. However, with mature locs, our oils are a great choice!

Can this oil be used on beards?

Absolutely. This oil works well on all hair types, including beards. Simply apply a small amount to a damp beard after cleansing your face and gently massage it in.

Are your products suitable for all hair types?

Yes, our products are formulated to be effective for a variety of hair types, including curly, wavy and straight textures. The natural ingredients in our formulations are designed to nourish and enhance the overall health of your hair, regardless of its type.

Does this oil hydrate the scalp/roots?

No, this oil does not hydrate the scalp or roots. Hydration comes from water, while this oil functions as a moisturiser. It helps to seal in existing hydration and prevent dryness, but it does not provide hydration on its own. For best results, apply it after hydrating the scalp with water or a water-based product.

Is it normal for the oil to go cloudy/solidify?

Yes, it is completely normal for the oil to go cloudy or solidify at low temperatures.

What is your UK shipping policy?

In such case, contact us within 48 hours of delivery through our Contact page with your full name, order number and clear photos of the issue to initiate the refund process. Only once the request has been reviewed and accepted will we process a refund.
